She Codes London is an annual event for women and other underrepresented groups in tech. We aim to inspire, encourage and support people from all backgrounds who have an interest in technology.
The event has two streams: the workshop stream and the mentored hack stream.
- Workshop Stream: For people who are complete beginners when it comes to programming. You will attend workshops throughout the day covering a range of topics such as Introduction to Python, GitHub and even building your own computer.
- Mentored Hack Stream: For people who have some experience in programming (this can range from just HTML/CSS all the way to software engineer!). You will work with an industry mentor on a project and then present it to the group at the end. Last year mentors were from companies such as Morgan Stanley, Twilio and ASOS.
